NIH Expertise
Membership
Membership offers one year of access to self-paced, virtual training courses for an individual, groups, or an entire organization. You will have access to a full complement of courses on grantwriting, grantsmanship, and a 10-week workplan to pace you to deadline.
To help researchers become master grantwriters, we offer annual membership to our library of courses. We currently have more than 1,000 researchers enrolled in our system, and weโve helped clients land nearly half a billion in federal funding.
There are three types of customizable library memberships available: one for large organizations, one for small groups, and another for individuals.
Organization
Membership to our library of self-directed NIH virtual training courses is the most cost-effective way to improve a researcherโs odds of funding, and will make them a stronger grantwriter, mentor, and reviewer.
Anyone with an organizational email address may access the courses, all campuses included.
You may subscribe to any single course, combination of courses, or the full library.
Groups
If youโre part of a smaller institution or research group, a full organizational membership may not be optimal. We offer a discount on bundles of 10 or more individual memberships. Contact us and weโll help you determine the optimal membership for you.ย
Individuals
Invest in your grantwriting career with unlimited access to all courses for a full year. The library contains a wide array of topics that walk you through writing and grantsmanship strategy โ offering templates, samples, checklists, and timelines.
Membership includes:
Wide Array of Quality Courses
Our 13 titles include five writing courses (Mastering the K, R, T, P & U, and Resubmissions) and a variety of NIH grantsmanship courses. You benefit from the expertise of a full-time NIH grant editor and trainer, who writes, presents, and regularly updates the courses.
We meet grantees wherever they are along the NIH journey, from mentored career development applications to the career capstone of a center grant application. Our cornerstone course,โฏMaster the R Series, has been updated every year since inception to incorporate the steady stream of NIH changes.
Livestream Bootcamps
A half-day live presentation of Master the R Series is included with membership to allow grantees to ask questions.
Content in Multiple Formats
Courses are presented on an intuitive dashboard in actionable steps with templates, samples, checklists, and timelines. Downloadable materials accompany each course. Grantees receive individualized guidance at a live Q & A every other week with Dr. Bouvier and other experts. A 10-week workplan paces grantees to the deadline.
Broadcast Prerecorded Courses To Host Your Own Training
Organizational members can build their own NIH training day or internal writing club using a broadcast of a pre-recorded course from our library.
Ask The Grantwriting Expert
Library members can join Meg Bouvier PhD for virtual office hours every other week. Come and go from the call whenever you like, ask questions, and watch as Meg answers live. For 30 minutes, you can quiz Meg about your biggest challenges and questions. On select weeks, she will invite a grantwriting colleague to join her in fielding your toughest questions. Other calls will feature mini-tutorials on topics such as how to write a Biosketch.
